CARE they need, LOVE they deserve.
CARE they need, LOVE they deserve.
As a non-profit organization animal foundation dedicated to the rescue of abused, neglected, sick, older, and unwanted animals we have, over the years, an opportunity to assist many animals who are medically unstable. These animals are often not ready for adoption until they are stable, and/or considered manageable by an appropriate adopter willing to take over the care the animal requires. These animals' conditions can range from cancer, heart disease, thyroid disease, arthritis, unspecified diseases/infections and/or other medical conditions requiring medical and physical maintenances. Nearly all these animals that have come to us, had extensive medical issues that were never addressed by their previous owners or animal control facilities they were rescued from. These animals are often deemed "undesirable" as their care is emotionally overwhelming and financially burdensome.
To the best of our ability, we provide them with the medical care they need. Our GOAL for these animals is once they are medically cleared and stable, vaccinated, spay/neutered we try to place them in loving forever homes. The reality is, many of these animals never advance to medical stability, are of a very advanced age, or have limited foreseeable life quality or expectancy as time moves on. For the good of the animal, they are allowed to live and be cared for at our Adoption Center.
Our organization, and our dedicated volunteers, do the best to give these animals much needed TLC as they live their lives with us. Monterey donations, and money raised by Adoption Fees from other cats that are more highly adoptable, make so much of their continuous care possible. This is part of our FULL CIRCLE MISSION. Special needs, mature and senior animals are as deserving of care, love, and desirability as all other animals.
